• Previous experience within an acute oncology or surgical ward environment is essential.
• Genuine desire to work in oncology specifically.
• Understanding of cancer and its emotional impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
• Monitor and manage treatment-related symptoms and side effects.
• Contribute to the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans.
• Support patients and families with empathy and professionalism.

Skills

Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration

Experience within an acute oncology or surgical ward environment

Competent in IV administration or willingness to complete training

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Strong interest in oncology
