Job summary

Modern Professional Painting Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking a painter helper to join our on-site construction team. This permanent, full-time position pays 26.00 CAD hourly, with 40 hours per week and overtime at 39.00 CAD hourly.

Start date: as soon as possible. Responsibilities include loading, unloading and transporting materials; mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt; cleaning and piling salvaged materials; removing rubble and debris; and tending or feeding

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience is an asset.
• Ability to work outdoors in dusty conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment on site.
