Job summary

WorleyCord is seeking a Material Handler for field projects at a Moose Jaw, SK project site. The role involves safe receiving, inspection, movement, storage, and delivery of materials to support construction activities.

Reporting to the Lead Material Handler and Materials Controller, you will ensure materials are identified, documented, and handled per project requirements, with site-based duties and potential 9/5 rotation. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in construction material handling or receiving.
• Trade certification or background is an asset.
• Experience working in industrial construction environments preferred.
• Familiarity with material handling processes, documentation, and receiving practices.
• Experience using tablets or digital tools for material tracking is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Escort deliveries onto site and assist with load acceptance.
• Perform load assessments and assist with unloading.
• Inspect materials for acceptance, shortages, or damage (UOSD).
• Record discrepancies with supporting information (photos).
• Move materials safely within laydown and storage areas.
• Coordinate material movements with the Lead Material Handler.
