Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada in Montreal, Quebec, seeks an Information Systems Officer, User Services (T & I) for on-site IT support. Provide technical assistance to users, maintain networks, peripherals, software, and manage telecommunications to ensure system availability.

You will work with maintenance teams, write scripts to monitor operations, and document issues. A CS degree and 2+ years IT support are required. Part-time role with Canada public broadcaster commitments.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least two years of on-site or telephone IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user difficulties by researching, diagnosing and analyzing IT issues; take action and document details.
• Collaborate with users and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues with documentation.
• Ensure file recovery and integrity after problems; restore operational systems.
• Write command files to resolve issues or enhance monitoring; document usage.
• Monitor equipment performance; coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.
• Complete forms and prepare correspondence/reports; follow up as required.
• Familiarize others with duties through training or guidance.
