A leading health organization in British Columbia seeks a Service Desk Analyst to provide technical support to FNHA employees and First Nations clients. The successful candidate will assist with computer workstations and IT issues while promoting cultural safety. Qualifications

  • Completion of two years of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Management, plus two years of related experience.
  • ITIL Foundations V4 Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for computer workstations, network servers, and applications.
  • Serve as point of contact for IT issues and requests.
  • Support multiple locations across British Columbia.
  • Manage incidents related to computer workstations, printing, and local area networks.

Skills

Basic knowledge of First Nations traditions and etiquette
Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to configure and operate hardware and peripheral devices
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of computer science principles and techniques
Knowledge of operating systems and hardware issues

Education

Completion of two years of post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field
