Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Field Heavy Equipment Technician to support our Swan River operations. The role covers repair and maintenance of construction and forestry equipment and attachments, reporting to the Winnipeg Construction and Forestry location.

You will diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts, and document work orders while using Deere Service Advisor and related tools. Safety, quality, and customer service drive daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in heavy equipment repair
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Computer aptitude for diagnostics and calibration
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Commitment to high-quality customer service

Responsibilities

• Efficiently evaluate and diagnose equipment health; repair and maintain construction and forestry machinery
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment and order necessary parts
• Document all actions on work orders and track time accurately
• Operate related tools, instruments and computer systems safely
• Test equipment road-verify operation and ensure safety standards
