Please note that we are a high voltage electrical laboratory that tests, certifies, inspects, and repairs insulating rubber goods, utility tools, and equipment (live line tools, battery-operated and crimping tools, grounding equipment, etc.). We currently have a new opportunity for an energetic, hands-on Shop-Field Supervisor with a mechanical aptitude to join our team at our NAIL-accredited high voltage testing laboratory located in Edmonton.
The successful candidate excels in a fast-paced, technical environment, meeting the stringent demands of our customers within this recession-proof industry. Knowledge of power utility/electrical equipment and/or industry-related standards is a definite asset. Ability to quickly learn standards and working procedures is essential.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will schedule, direct, train, and work alongside a crew of technicians involved in various specialties both in the lab and in the field. Your responsibilities include maintaining production efficiency, coordinating work efforts to ensure customer satisfaction, and ensuring legislative compliance.

Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience/trades certification, with a minimum of five years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
