CrossSafety is hiring a Construction Safety Consultant to support clients in construction and operations safety across North America. This salaried contract role offers a pathway to permanent status. You will advise on health, safety, and risk management for complex projects, including audits and inspections on live sites in St.
Thomas. Requirements include a safety certificate, field experience in high-hazard environments, and OH&S knowledge for Ontario.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Construction trade certification with significant health and safety experience.
- Field experience in high-hazard environments; Associate level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on health, safety, and environmental issues for projects.
- Advise project teams on hazard identification and protective measures.
- Contribute to design, planning, and operability reviews from a safety angle.
- Manage risks to workers and the public on live client sites.
- Perform health and safety audits and on-site inspections with timely corrective actions.
- Assist with incident investigations and regulatory liaison.
- Prepare detailed professional safety reports and records.
