Grey Highlands Fire and Emergency Services is recruiting part-time on-call firefighters for the Markdale and Flesherton stations. Applications are accepted online at any time, with recruitment held once per calendar year depending on vacancies.

Pay is not posted and there is no closing date posted. Candidates must be 18+, hold OSSD or equivalent, possess a G2 licence with clean abstract and be willing to obtain a DZ, have no disqualifying criminal history, and live within 8 km of a fire station.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada
• OSSD or equivalent at time of application
• Valid G2 licence with clean abstract and willingness to obtain Class DZ
• No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted
• Live within 8 km of either fire station
