Job summary

Bridgepoint Maintenance is seeking experienced electricians for residential field service in Bowmanville, Ontario. The role requires independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and adherence to safety and code requirements.

You will communicate professionally with customers and our operations team while completing service calls across local assignments. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of paid electrical experience, own tools and a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work with digital work orders

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of paid electrical experience.
• Able to work independently without supervision.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing residential electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and code compliance.
• Professional communication with customers and operations team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot outlets, switches, lighting, fixtures, circuits, and breakers.
• Repair or replace approved electrical devices and components.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify safety concerns.
• Test completed work before closing the service call.
• Determine when permits or inspections may be required.
• Document completed work with photos and service notes.
• Update work orders and job progress through mobile app.
• Travel between scheduled appointments.
