Job summary

Canada Post is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant in Beaver Harbour, NB, to provide counter services with a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate resides in the community, with flexibility for temporary, on-call work.

Responsibilities include selling postal products, handling mail classifications, and assisting customers with information and forms, resolving service issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High school or provincial equivalency.
• Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
• Understanding of general or post office accounting systems.
• Physically fit to lift mail containers up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
