Job summary

New Frontiers School Board in Châteauguay, Quebec, seeks an on-call Replacement Bank for Lunchtime/Noon Hour Student Supervision. The role ensures students follow school policy and supervises in the cafeteria, assisting with meals and maintaining safety during lunch hours.

You will work with teachers and student services staff to support activities, monitor absences, and assist with reports and first aid as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority and have one (1) year of pertinent experience in those areas requiring self-discipline, general concepts in psychology and human relations skills.
• Experience working with students in a school setting is valued.
• First aid certification is required within the specified period.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunchtime to ensure adherence to school policies.
• Assist students with meals and help with dressing/undressing as needed.
• Support teachers and student services staff in supervising activities and maintaining a safe environment.
• Lock/unlock doors and lockers, monitor access, and assist with accident and theft reporting.
• Provide first aid and notify administration in case of incidents; may witness in court if required.
