Job summary

A power generation services company in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a knowledgeable Generator Field Service Technician. The role involves performing maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a Power Generation Diploma or its equivalent. This position offers full-time hours with after-hours on-call responsibilities and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a generator field service technician.
• College-level Power Generation Diploma, Certified Mechanic with electrical skills or Licensed Electrician preferred.
• Working knowledge of D/C and A/C electrical systems.
• Comfortable using MS Office suite including Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency service, preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for generators.
• Test and troubleshoot generator systems and transfer switches.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional engagement.
• Complete service and equipment performance reports as required.
