PRACTICE OVERVIEW

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead technical projects, managing data engineering, model selection, design, and infrastructure deployment in internal and client environments. You will work closely with partners, principals, and clients to understand business challenges and deliver customized solutions.

  • Explore data, build models, and evaluate solution performance to solve core business problems.
  • Explain, refine, and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the model‑building journey.
  • Stay current on domain and emerging data‑engineering methodologies.
  • Advocate best practices in modelling, code hygiene, and data engineering.
  • Lead the development of proprietary statistical techniques, algorithms, or analytical tools.
  • Collaborate with partners and principals to shape proposals that leverage our data‑science capabilities.
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Technical background in computer science, data science, machine learning, AI, statistics, or related quantitative fields.
  • Track record of designing and deploying large‑scale technical solutions that deliver tangible value. Experience with production systems, supervised and unsupervised learning, and cloud‑based infrastructure‑as‑code is essential.
  • Fluency in modern programming languages for data science (Python is required; other expertise welcome) covering the full ML lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with machine‑learning frameworks (Scikit‑Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and modern storage/computation frameworks, with Azure and AWS knowledge.
  • Strong theoretical grounding in the mathematical core of data science: statistics, linear algebra, vector calculus, and advanced topics such as Bayesian modeling or time‑series forecasting.
  • Experience presenting at data‑science conferences and engagement with the community is highly valued.
  • Interest in financial services, capital markets, healthcare, life sciences, consumer, retail, energy, or transportation industries.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: $150,000 – $195,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. In addition to base pay, candidates may be eligible for performance‑based incentives. We offer health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k), and other retirement programs.
