About the Role

Join us as an Oil Boiler Mechanic, where you'll be a motivated individual capable of adapting to changing priorities while ensuring safe and efficient operations. Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining the heating system to provide heat and hot water to the station. This includes resolving outages, performing preventative maintenance on heating systems and controls, responding to equipment failures, and implementing preventative maintenance plans.

What You Will Bring
  • Red Seal Oil Burner Mechanic or Oil Heat Systems Technician Certification.
  • Demonstrated experience working on oil-fired burners, boilers, hot water heaters, forced air furnaces, incinerators, and unit heaters.
  • Experience with Riello RL Burners is an asset.
  • Full Driver's License for eligibility for DND 404.
  • 4th Class Power Engineer preferred, an asset.

  • Fly-In Fly-Out schedule with 8x8 rotations (8 weeks on site, 8 weeks off site)
  • $27 a day in Isolation Allowance for every day on site.
  • 40-hour work weeks with some overtime opportunities.
