Job summary

A leading subsea services provider in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a highly skilled Survey Party Chief. In this role, you will supervise offshore survey operations and ensure effective communication with project management and team members. The ideal candidate will have a hydrographic survey or geomatics degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The position involves managing survey equipment, ensuring safety, and maintaining data integrity throughout offshore projects. A commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Surveyor.
• Key experience as a Party Chief or in related duties.
• Excellent communicator, reader, and writer.
• Leadership Communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise checking and testing of survey equipment.
• Coordinate and manage the mobilization of equipment.
• Ensure all personnel meet company safety requirements.
• Communicate daily with the Project Manager.
• Implement and maintain survey standards.
• Ensure data deliverables are submitted correctly.
