Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking an experienced ROV Supervisor to lead and supervise ROV operations, ensuring safe and compliant performance. The role involves coordinating with vessel management, client representatives, and dive teams to optimize project execution.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ROV supervision and a high school diploma, with preferred offshore certifications and an engineering technologist/technician diploma. This offshore position requires robust safety and teamwork capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required).
• 2+ years as an ROV Supervisor (required).
• Engineering technologist or technician diploma (preferred).
• Valid offshore training such as Basic Survival Training, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection and Regulatory Awareness (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ROV operations and personnel.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations per Oceaneering policy and client requirements.
• Coordinate ROV activities with vessel management, client representatives, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain equipment readiness and oversee planned maintenance and fault finding.
• Manage emergency response activities involving the ROV system and personnel.
• Coach, mentor and assess personnel to develop competence.
• Liaise with clients and shore-based management regarding operational status and performance.
