Job summary

A multidisciplinary medical complex in Ottawa is looking for a full-time Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience in family practice. Responsibilities include patient care, taking vital signs, and providing health education. Excellent communication skills and current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses are required.

We are looking for a full-time Nurse to join our team.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of work experience providing care to patients in a family practice setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or RPN diploma
• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills in Word, Excel, and general spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide client service.
• English fluency is required; Bilingual (English / French) is considered an asset.

Duties include :

• Welcome patients, take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensure infection control, and conduct specimen collection
• Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
• Provide nursing services within the defined scope of practice
• Monitor patients' progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team
