Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Salary: $36.60 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Education
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities
  • Implement, review, and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Delegate work to office support staff and establish work priorities to ensure deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records, processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co‑ordinate and plan office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget, maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and train staff
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, resolve conflict situations, commission systems and components, coach, monitor, and evaluate
  • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures
