Job summary

A medical clinic in Calgary is seeking a committed Administrative Officer to implement and evaluate procedures while training staff and managing office operations. This full-time permanent position requires a College education and at least two years of experience in a similar role. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and conflict resolution skills. Note that the work must be completed on-site. The role offers a competitive salary of $37.00 hourly with 30-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures

  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
