Responsibilities
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade‑in allowances, warranties and delivery dates.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales or contracts.
  • Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support.
  • Identify and solicit potential clients.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Provide advice about merchandise.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services.
  • Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions.
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease.
Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP – Interior architecture or Interior design.
  • Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in a similar role.
  • Design methods: Visual communication.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail, MS Office, MS Outlook, Salesforce.
  • Area of specialization: Furniture design, Office furniture.
  • Transportation/travel: Own vehicle, valid driver's licence, travel expenses paid by employer.
