The Role:

Preference will be given to applicants who live with a developmental disability.

As an Office Assistant at CLBC, you will help with many different reception and office-related jobs, including:

  • Greeting people visiting the office
  • Answering the phone and taking messages, or forwarding calls to the appropriate staff
  • Work on the computer, for example, completing form letters and creating mailing labels
  • Prepare the mail for daily pick-up
  • Organize and keep track of office supplies
  • Restock the printer and photocopier paper trays
  • Pick up and deliver faxes
  • Keep the reception, waiting area, file rooms, offices and kitchen tidy and restock supplies

You will be part of a team that communicates in a friendly and respectful way with all kinds of people and creates positive working relationships with co‑workers, staff, and people from different backgrounds.

You will report directly to the Supervisor of Administrative Services.

Qualifications:
  • Attended high school and/or has a similar combination of education, training and experience
  • Being careful and paying attention to small details is helpful for this job
