A leading engineering consultancy in Vancouver is seeking a Part-Time Office Administrator to facilitate daily operations. Our Vancouver office is looking to hire a Part‑Time Office Administrator for the working hours of 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Monday–Thursday).
The Office Administrator is responsible for the efficient day‑to‑day operations of our consulting office while creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. This role supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization, communication, events, equipment and processes. It also requires a proactive and responsive approach.
Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing visitors and taking messages for employees.
Provides general administrative support such as expenses, access, printing, couriers and calendars.
Builds an engaging office environment through planning and coordinating communications, internal social events, gatherings and activities.
Controls internal and external supplies and resources such as furniture and food.
Maintains a safe environment and high hygiene standards in common work areas such as the reception, kitchen, storage and meeting areas.
Coordinates with other administrative staff and service teams to support overflow work.
Some knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) services sector.
Familiarity with organizational and project‑management tools and best practices.
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu.
