Job summary

Primus Workforce Ltd. is seeking experienced Class 1 Semi-Vac Truck Operators to support oil and gas projects across Alberta. You will operate semi-vac trucks to move fluids, drilling waste, and materials between rigs, disposal sites and service locations in off-road, remote environments.

This role suits a retired or semi-retired driver seeking flexible, supplemental work. Expect 12-hour day/night shifts, 2–3 weeks straight, with rigorous safety requirements and the opportunity to work across

Qualifications

• Class 1 license with clean abstract.
• 1+ year off-road driving in oil & gas or heavy industry.
• Experience with semi-vac/hydrovac in remote sites.
• Required safety tickets: H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG, CSO, First Aid.
• Ability to work long shifts in harsh weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 semi-vac trucks to transport fluids and waste.
• Drive on rough terrain and remote oilfield sites.
• Perform vacuum operations as needed.
• Assist with rig moves and cleaning operations.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and rig managers.
• Maintain logbooks and manifests.
