Halton Healthcare is seeking a dynamic OTA/PTA to join our inpatient interprofessional team at the Georgetown site. In this temporary part-time role, you will support patients in their care journey on inpatient units, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a combined OT/PTA certificate, at least two years in acute care, strong patient-centred care skills across medical, surgical, neurological and geriatric caseloads, and the ability to work flexibly within a

Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA)
  • Contract
  • FTE: Must provide availability of a 0.40 FTE
  • Union Status: CUPE 145
  • Shift Schedule (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs): Mon-Fri - 7.5 hour day shifts
  • Employment Status: Temporary Part-time

We are seeking a dynamic OTA/PTA to join our inpatient interprofessional team. In this role, you will work closely with patients that have been assigned to our inpatient units supporting them in their care journey.

We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

Hours: Monday to Sunday; (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary: $34.210 to $37.040 per hour
