A healthcare organization in Ontario is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to implement intervention plans for children with autism and developmental delays. The OTA will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate with families, and create engaging environments for clients. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at Monarch House your primary responsibility is implementing interventions for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental delays and/or motor delays. Your role of Occupational Therapy Assistant is to execute intervention plans developed and supervised by a Registered Occupational Therapist to clients in care of Monarch House. The Assistant will work within an interdisciplinary team while providing an engaging and positive client experience in a fast paced and frequently changing environment.
Clinic and community-based
Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 3PM to 7PM; Saturday between 10-12noon
$23-25/hour
