Job summary

Scarborough Health Network in Canada is seeking an Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist Assistant (GEN) for a temporary, part-time role at the Centenary Site. Reporting to the Manager, you will perform prescribed physiotherapy and occupational therapy duties under supervision.

Requirements include graduate of an accredited program, CPR, ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, strong communication, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist Assistant program or equivalent.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relating to rehabilitation.
• Valid CPR training.
• Able to function as an integral component of an interdisciplinary team.
• Able to work under minimal supervision accepting responsibility and accountability.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including patient teaching.
• Experience working with people of various ethno-cultural groups is an asset.
• Demonstrated physical fitness to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Highly punctual and professional.
