This inventory will be used for various tenures (indeterminate, deployment, specified period, assignment, secondment). EDUCATION

Graduation with an Occupational Therapy (OT) degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION

Eligible for an unrestricted license to practice as an occupational therapist in a province or territory of Canada.

EX1 : Significant

• and recent
• experience working as an occupational therapist with an adult caseload.
• Significant is defined as approximately seventeen hundred (1700) independent practice hours of experience in a broad range of related activities. Seventeen hundred hours is equivalent to one year of full-time work.
• Recent is defined as within the last five (5) years.
• Caseload is defined as a minimum of 20 hours of direct clinical patient care in a week.

Sufficiency of experience may be determined by the Canadian Forces Health Services Group Credentialing Committee OR Professional Technical Network.

Experience as an occupational therapist in providing rehabilitation services to adult patients with a broad variety of physical conditions.

Experience in using outcome measures to assess physical, cognitive, affective, and psychosocial functioning.
