Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist I for the Marshall Eliuk Peace River Community Health Centre in Northern Alberta. You will guide clinical decisions, support clients toward meaningful occupations, and collaborate with families and a wide interprofessional team to promote independence and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-informed services focused on occupational performance for individuals, groups, or communities.
• Engage clients and families, collaborate with interprofessional teams, and advocate for client-centered care.
• Contribute to quality improvement, supervise students, and may supervise Therapy Assistants and Therapy Aides.
