Qualifications:

• Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
• Accepting new graduates with licensure
• 1-3 years of experience is an asset
• Experience with clients with physical, mental health, and neurological conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
• Experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Responsibilities:

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
• Educating clients on pacing, pain management, cognitive behavioral strategies, and task modification
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians, and psychologists
• Participating in case conferences and case management
• Supporting return-to-work programs
• Using e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports timely
• Managing caseload in a fast-paced environment
