Overview

Our government client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician specializing in MarineOccupationalHealth. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to marine workers, ensuring their physical and mental well-being while adhering to industry regulations and standards.

  • Remote
  • 1 year contract + 4 option years (approx. 125 days per year)
  • Reliability level of security clearance
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations for marine personnel.
  • Diagnose and treat occupational injuries and illnesses specific to the marine environment.
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs tailored to marine operations.
  • Advise on occupational health policies and workplace hazard prevention.
  • Collaborate with marine organizations, regulatory bodies, government agencies and other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with a valid unrestricted medical license.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience providing patient medical care
  • Extensive knowledge of international and / or domestic occupational health standards and industry best practices
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience delivering marine occupational health medicine.
  • Depth of experience providing consultative services to stakeholders, clients and partners.
