Overview

Occu-Med Health Services has an immediate opening for a Nurse (RN or RPN) to join our Service Delivery team, to conduct health assessments for employers in Southwestern Ontario. The position will involve travel, with some overnights.

Responsibilities

• conduct employee health tests, which will include physical exams, vision screening, hearing tests, PFTs and other tests. We can provide training on any of these as required.
• provide occasional support at fixed client sites (typically in London) (this function would require nurse with prior occupational health experience)
• travel to client sites to conduct employee health testing onsite
• conduct employee health tests at our London clinic
• are placed at client locations to provide occupational health services on a contract basis

• Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel in Southwestern Ontario
• Willingness to learn new things, as we often cross-train members of our team
• Good ability to communicate in English
• Outstanding willingness to serve others
• Valid Nursing license in Ontario

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: hourly rate ranging from $24/hr to $40/hr depending on experience and services provided
• We pay for travel and provide a shift premium for onsite/mobile work
• Flexibility to some extent to schedule work around staff availability
• Different environment focused on preventative testing for healthy workers

About Us

Occu-Med is a London-based 42-year-old provider of occupational health services to employers. We have nurses and other health professionals who travel to client sites, conduct testing onsite or at our London clinic, and are placed at client locations on a contract basis. We operate a mobile health testing unit where required.
