Job summary

SA Technologies Inc. in Montreal, QC is seeking an Application Specialist Level 2 to develop, implement, and support OBIEE-based BI solutions across the enterprise.

You will apply Oracle database knowledge, ODI/ETL design, and data modeling to deliver robust data warehousing and reporting capabilities for business users. Reporting to the APM Business Intelligence team, you will collaborate with BI developers, operations, and end users, ensure adherence to change control, and support production

Qualifications

• 5–9 years in Information Technology
• Retail industry experience is a plus
• Bilingual: English and French
• Solid OBIEE 11g and data warehouse implementation experience
• Solid ODI 11g knowledge
• OBIEE/ODI architecture knowledge
• OBIEE RPD design and reports design
• BI Publisher knowledge
• PL/SQL and SQL proficiency
• Experience in data warehousing design and ETL development with ODI
• Unix/Linux scripting knowledge
• WebLogic administration knowledge
• Oracle OLAP knowledge a plus
• SSIS knowledge an asset
• Strong BI/DW technical skillset; OBIEE, Oracle DB, data modeling, ETL, ODI, performance tuning
• Ability to work independently and communicate with business users in business terms
• Team member of Applications management

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement, and support OBIEE platform components
• Follow change control processes
• Collaborate to understand data schema and reuse queries for business users
• Work in a team and build new BI solutions
• Contribute on processes needing SSIS ETL knowledge
• Support end users in production and ETL batches
• Take directions from senior Application Management members
