Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Nutanix clusters, Prism, AHV, and NUS.
• Familiarity with VMware, VDI, SAN/NAS systems.

• Minimum 2 to 5+ years in IT operations required.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with Nutanix clusters, Prism, AHV, NUS (Nutanix Unified Storage) and related technologies.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, VDI, SAN/NAS systems, and backup solutions like Veeam or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft technologies includes Azure, Entra, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and basic switching.
• A minimum of 2 to 5+ years in IT operations, ideally with resellers, consulting companies, or enterprise IT settings.
• Preferred certifications: Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or higher, VMware VCP, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, configuration, and upkeep of Nutanix clusters, Prism management, and AHV/ESXi hypervisors.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues within Nutanix and optimize performance.
• Support upgrades, capacity planning, and the integration of backup/disaster recovery solutions.
• Oversee and assist in managing server/storage environments, which include VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, and backup systems (e.g., Veeam).
• Plan, design, and implement new applications, patches, and hardware.
• Provide Tier 2 support for authorized hardware/software and take part in on‑call rotation.
• Act as a trusted consultant to clients by understanding their business needs and delivering customized solutions.
• Engage in pre/post‑sales technical discussions and solution design.
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining backups and restores, monitoring system health, and adhering to SLAs.
• Document technical processes and provide training for end‑users.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
