Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of nursing fundamentals, health assessment, pharmacology, pathophysiology, medical‑surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, maternal‑newborn nursing, psychiatric nursing, and community health nursing.
• Ability to explain nursing process, evidence‑based practice, clinical reasoning, and patient safety principles while preparing nursing students for clinical rotations, NCLEX examination, and professional nursing practice.
• Skilled at teaching clinical reasoning, patient assessment techniques, and care planning across nursing specialties. Guides students through health assessments, medication administration, care plans, lab value interpretation, and prioritization.
• Familiar with ADN/BSN curricula and NCLEX prep; adapts instruction using case studies and NCLEX‑style questions.
• Ability to identify concepts students struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt to individual learning styles.

• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with nursing curricula for ADN and BSN programs and common challenges such as pharmacology calculations, clinical reasoning development, and NCLEX preparation across content areas. Adapts instruction using clinical case studies, medication calculation practice, and NCLEX‑style questions to support nursing students from fundamentals through advanced medical‑surgical nursing and NCLEX examination readiness.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
