Hourly $21.00 to $24.00 (to be negotiated), 30–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care.
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
  • Provide nursing services within the defined scope of practice based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications & Credentials
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma of 1–2 years OR equivalent experience.
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Geriatrics specialization.
