Qualifications

  • Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a professional studies diploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing.
  • Ease in the use of computer tools.
  • Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset.
  • Member of the OIIAQ.
  • CPR up to date.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Our residences are seeking applicants for future nursing assistant positions in the South Shore region (Longueuil, Chambly, Saint-Hubert, and surrounding areas).

We are seeking competent, caring professionals who are passionate about the well‑being of our residents.

Full-time, daytime position with every other weekend.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Create and maintain meticulous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
  • Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a professional studies diploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
