About the Setting

We are working with a well-established, high-quality private nursery based in Harrow, committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. The nursery prides itself on its warm and welcoming atmosphere, strong staff team, and focus on delivering outstanding early years education.

They are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Room Leader to join their friendly team and take the lead in one of their rooms.

The Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting a team of practitioners within your designated room.
• Planning, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
• Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Ensuring all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed.
• Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider nursery team.
• Promoting best practice and maintaining high standards of care and education.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a senior or room leader role within an early years setting.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
