A leading healthcare institution in Toronto is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse for the Transitional Care Unit. The successful candidate will provide client-centered care, utilize clinical skills, and work within an interdisciplinary team. Key qualifications include a BScN and current registration with the CNO. Benefits include vacation entitlement and access to an employee assistance program.
Baycrest Hospital has an opportunity for a REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - Transitional Care Unit (TCU) (3 West).
Shift Type: Day, alternate weekends (subject to change)
Hours of Work: 7.5hrs/shift
Union: ONA
The Transitional Care unit (TCU) provides care for patients who are awaiting discharge to an alternative level of care setting and prepares them for discharge. The philosophy of the unit is to maintain health, wellness and function while awaiting placement in an appropriate client-centered environment.
