Job summary

Foundever is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our remote Canada program as an independent contractor, delivering primary care across New Brunswick via telehealth, phone, video, and secure messaging. You’ll practice to the full scope of your NP license with a flexible schedule and the autonomy you want.

You'll need 1–3 years of NP experience, NB licensure or eligibility, and comfort with digital tools and EHRs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of NP practice experience in primary or urgent care.
• Telehealth or virtual care experience is a strong asset.
• Master of Nursing NP program; CNBN/CNNB registration requirement.
• Licensed/registered with CNNB in good standing or eligible for NB licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive, patient-centered assessments and manage urgent and ongoing care needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, initiate referrals, and prescribe medications and treatments.
• Champion the use of technology to support clinical documentation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical advisors and NP colleagues as a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive, patient-centered assessments and manage urgent and ongoing care needs — including follow-up care for unattached patients — with clinical confidence and precision.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, initiate referrals, and prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and your full scope of practice.
• Champion the use of technology to support clinical documentation, care coordination, and patient outcomes across digital health platforms and electronic health records.
• Collaborate with medical advisors and your NP colleagues, applying sound clinical judgment to elevate and coordinate care when needed — because great care is always a team effort.
• Leverage virtual care tools effectively, navigating platforms with ease to ensure seamless, uninterrupted patient experiences.

Qualifications

You bring clinical excellence: Minimum 1–3 years of NP practice experience, preferably in primary care or urgent care, with strong diagnostic reasoning and assessment skills.

You embrace virtual care: Previous telehealth or virtual care experience is a strong asset — and your comfort with digital tools sets you apart.

You hold the credentials : Master of Nursing (MN NP Program), clinical practice-focused.

You're licensed or ready to be: Licensed/registered with CNNB in good standing — or eligible and enthusiastic about obtaining licensure in New Brunswick. We support you through the process. Where applicable, you also maintain registration in your province of residence as required by your provincial regulatory body.

You lead with purpose: You're passionate about improving healthcare access, detail-oriented, accountable, and committed to clinical excellence.

You thrive in collaboration: You bring strong organizational and time-management skills, communicate complex clinical information clearly, and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Language Proficiency

Proficiency in English is required as you will be assisting English Patients

This is an independent contractor position. Licensure in New Brunswick is required — if you're not yet licensed in NB, we encourage you to apply and we'll support you through the process.
