Extendicare Inc. is seeking an independent Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical leadership in geriatric care at Countryside in Sudbury, Ontario. We are seeking independent, collaborative, and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioners who demonstrate advanced critical thinking, strong communication, and a commitment to excellence in geriatric care.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) functions as an independent practitioner accountable to residents, College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards, and Extendicare’s policies. The NP works closely with the interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate clinical care for residents with acute and chronic health needs. The NP practices within the extended class scope, identifying personal care parameters and consulting or referring to physicians and other health professionals as appropriate. The NP will be located at Extendicare Countryside in Sudbury, Ontario.
