Job summary

Canadian Armed Forces Nurse Practitioners provide care and treatment to CAF members and supported populations in primary and tertiary care environments in Canada and while on operation.

They work within a collaborative practice model and lead the delivery of health services within their area of practice, with opportunities in Primary Care, Acute Care, Education and training, and Policy and Program management.

Qualifications

• University degree and license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in a Canadian province or territory.
• Civilian Nurse Practitioner experience is advantageous.
• Complete military health care provider training after Rank Qualification Lieutenant to ensure clinical competencies.

Responsibilities
