Position

Nurse Practitioners – Miko-Mahikan Red Wolf (Permanent Full Time)

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Miko-Mahikan “Red Wolf” Harm Reduction Team to encompass harm reduction strategies, HIV/HCV, opiate use disorder, and related initiatives within a harm reduction and rights-based philosophy.
  • Under the direction of the Miko-Mahikan “Red Wolf” Harm Reduction Program Manager, provide primary care and community health services to clients and their families.
  • Provide outreach services to the communities of the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of approved school of Nursing
  • Master’s degree in nursing
  • Current registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Nurse Practitioners
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in primary care, public health, or acute care
  • Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting and be self-motivated
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work within First Nations Traditional and Spiritual Institutes
  • Ability to provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Current CPIC and vulnerable sector check
Rate of Pay & Benefits

$102,550 to $122,674 (based on years of experience)
