Qualifications

  • Current registration with the CNO in the Extended Class (Primary Health Care or Adult).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • One year of clinical experience in relevant nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary health care services to residents in Long Term Care.
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for resident care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Skills

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care nursing
Working knowledge of Long-Term Care legislation
Ability to manage physical and emotional demands
