Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority seeks a Nurse Practitioner to support long‑term care residents at Yorkton District Nursing Home. You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate health care with physicians and the care team to meet resident needs.

Requirements include 3 years RN experience in relevant settings, a BScN, and licensure. Master NP and BLS-HCP are acceptable; Nursing diploma is acceptable.

Qualifications

• RN with 3 years experience in primary care, public health or acute care.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Nursing diploma acceptable.
• Master of Nurse Practitioner acceptable.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP).

• Job Description: The Nurse Practitioner supports the mission, philosophy and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and is responsible for assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of health care services to the long term care residents and clients in the multipurpose beds of The Yorkton & District Nursing Home. This is done in collaboration with the family physicians, other health care providers, community organizations and programs and the resident and their family.

Experience
