Job summary

eStruxture is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Correctional Health Services team in Fort Saskatchewan. You will provide comprehensive health services across the lifespan, perform assessments, diagnoses, orders and interprets diagnostics, prescribe care, and perform procedures to meet patient needs.

This unionized, temporary part-time position offers 7.75-hour shifts and a 0.40 FTE, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program with a Master’s degree.
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support-Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients.
