Job summary

Njoyn is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Maternal, Newborn and Paediatric Nursing Resource Team. The role focuses on Labour and Delivery and Postpartum units, with training in obstetrical surgical procedures as a Scrub Nurse in the L&D OR.

You will deliver patient- and family-centred care across multiple clinical areas and contribute to teaching and learning within the organization. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, applying strong assessment, prioritization

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple clinical areas within the Maternal, Newborn and Paediatric program, with emphasis on Labour and Delivery and Postpartum units.
• Scrub Nurse training in Labour and Delivery Operating room.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to assess, educate, prevent, maintain and restore patient health.
• Foster professional development and connect with physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Support teaching and learning and research and innovation initiatives.
