Qualifications

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training

Position Summary

In line with the vision, mission, and values of Prairie Mountain Health and its affiliates, the Nurse II provides comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients according to established standards, policies, and procedures. Nurse IIs uphold their professional responsibilities by practicing in accordance with the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics, the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice, the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Psychiatric Nursing Practice, the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act, and other relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Practice within their scope of practice, expertise, training, and experience, adhering to the RHPA or the Registered Psychiatric Nurse Act of Manitoba, Standards of Practice (CRNM or CRPNM), entry-level competencies for RNs or RPNs, and the Professional Code of Ethics.
• Obtain and maintain relevant competencies as required by PMH.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
