Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a qualified nurse to join our pharmacy team.

You will assess health needs, administer vaccines including influenza, travel vaccines, and herpes zoster, and contribute to hypertension, diabetes, and anticoagulant service offerings. You will welcome patients with professionalism, provide device training for glucometers and blood pressure monitors, and help expand nursing services within the store while collaborating with the pharmacy

Qualifications

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec — Québec immunization protocol) and travel health.
