Shoppers Drug Mart in Courtenay, BC is seeking a registered nurse to join our community pharmacy team. In this role you’ll take blood samples, assess vaccination needs and offer vaccines such as influenza, COVID, pneumococcus, and travel health advice.

You’ll provide services for hypertension, diabetes, anticoagulant therapy, and educate patients on using glucometers and blood pressure devices. You’ll welcome patients professionally and collaborate with the pharmacy team to grow nursing services.

Qualifications

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec) and travel health
